Climb On! is a beginner’s guide to rock climbing, designed as a booklet for print.
Project Background
The design challenge was to design a booklet that communicates basic information on a topic to individuals who know nothing or very little about the topic.
Design Challenge
Creating wireframes before producing the final design helped me to visualize how the different page layouts were going to look and work together. This helped me to create a cohesive editorial design that had ample white space and was balanced.

Client
The booklet contains a variety of editorial design elements, such as a table of contents, a pull quote, and a sidebar. The intentional use of white space, alignment, and scale assists in creating balance, rhythm, and visual hierarchy.
